1 thought on “LG WT7100CW Common Problems and Troubleshooting”

  1. I took very good care of my washing machine for 3 years. I never, ever overloaded it. It looks brand new! Now, there’s a problem during the rinse cycle and water keeps running and draining into the drum but the spin cycle doesn’t begin. When I pause it and push “Spin”, it does spin but it makes a grinding sound and the entire drum flops back and forth.
I called an LG repairman. His diagnosis cost $115 and I was told the Main Board was broken. The repairman and 2 LG customer service reps that I subsequently contacted told me that to replace the Board would cost $678 so I “may as well buy a new one.” I am so disappointed as the reviews were excellent which is why I bought the washer/dryer set in November 2020. Never thought I would have to replace the washer so soon.
